Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By renting a vehicle from Nomad Chile ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

2. Eligibility

The primary driver must be at least 25 years of age, hold a valid driving licence, and present a valid passport or national ID at time of pickup. International licences are accepted from the US, Canada, UK, EU member states and Australia.

3. Booking and payment

A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the rental start date. All prices are quoted in USD and include applicable Chilean taxes.

4. Cancellation policy

Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations 30–59 days before departure receive a 50% deposit refund. Cancellations less than 30 days before departure forfeit the full deposit. The balance payment is non-refundable in all cases once paid.

5. Insurance and security deposit

All rentals include third-party liability and collision damage cover. A refundable security deposit is held on your credit card at pickup and released within 14 days of return, provided no damage or traffic violations are reported.

6. Use of vehicles

Vehicles may be driven only by the named driver(s) listed on the rental agreement. Driving off designated roads without prior written consent, or use in racing or timed events, voids insurance coverage. Smoking inside any vehicle is prohibited.

7. International travel

Travel into Argentina or other neighbouring countries requires advance written permission from Nomad. We will supply the necessary documentation. Border crossings not approved in advance void insurance coverage.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Santiago, Chile.
